Rebecca Halsey

Project & Operations Manager, Virginia Tech

Rebecca Halsey joined the Office of Audit, Risk, and Compliance in July 2022. She received her Master of Arts in Political Science in 2012 from Syracuse University after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with honors in 2012 from Austin College. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership at William and Mary. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Rebecca was the Director of Strategic Academic Initiatives at Hollins University and held a series of progressive positions at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. A problem solver at her core, Rebecca is responsible for providing cross-cutting strategic support across OARC's programs.
